Not only did we have a delicious dinner last night, but I decided to bring home a light kit and try photographing food! I'd have to say I feel it was pretty successful.
In the middle of this shoot the shutter on my camera broke. It can be fixed but it will take about a week and some cash. So, if you don't see anything for about a week that's why!
I reserved the studio at UVU for a couple hours today and here's what I ended up with:
I love when magazines "write" on photos and use them so this was my stab at that.
I made this bird in my 3D design class this semester out of wire. It was very difficult, but overall I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Below are the lanterns I made earlier this year. I shot both the bird and the lanterns to include in my BFA application for UVU. We are supposed to include artwork outside our field of emphasis.
