Bridal Veil

For my photography class we were supposed to demonstrate the use of shutter speed through either blurred or frozen motion. I decided to take pictures of Bridal Veil Falls. The picture I turned in for class was with my film camera and in black and white. However, here are some I took with my digital camera.

Art Deco Poster

For my Graphic Computer Applications class we are working with Adobe Illustrator. Our assignment was to make an art deco poster for an event. It needed to include the event, place, and date. We couldn't use any gradients or photos and it had to be our own work. So, this is what I have so far... suggestions would be great!

Just a side note...

The typogram I turned in last week (I turned in the Tie) was hanging in the hall at school when I got here this morning! I was pretty excited because that means I must have done a pretty good job!

This is another assignment for my typography class. We were supposed to give enhanced meaning to a word using only type. Overall my class liked the tie the best so that is the one I will be graded on, but the tongue was almost as well liked.

Typography Self Portait

One of my first projects for my Typography and Layout class was this self portrait using only letters and punctuation. I had a hard time with it at first, but I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. It was much more fun than the first assignment which was tracing two full alphabets (pretty much a waste of four hours). Keep checking back because I'll be posting more of my many projects.
